When to contact your council
Your local council can help you complete pet-related tasks if you cannot do this through the NSW Pet Registry. This includes:
- submitting a change of owner (C3A) (PDF, 150 KB) form
- updating your contact details or information about your pet using the Update your details (C3C) (PDF, 118 KB) form
- paying your pet registration fee using the Pet Registration (R2) (PDF, 147 KB) form
- paying annual permit fees over the counter
- reporting issues with dogs and cats in your community
